The Black Watch

Back in Absit, The Black Watch was a guild that hunted undead and other specifically evil threats to the nation. Other than that public service they also acted as spies and assassins for the crown. This duality left them with a shaky public relation. On the one hand they protected the people against supernatural threats but on the other hand their methods were sometimes morally questionable. Then add in the shadowy jobs they did for the king of Absit and to say their public image is complicated would have been a massive understatement. Since coming to Esor the guild hasn't done much except being deployed on occasion when a village gets attacked or any other time the King takes notice of some supernatural threat. Because of the inactivity the guild has shrunk in members considerably but rumors of The Black Watch still conducting political espionage are abound. Recently Darian Hans, the Knight General of Natus, has been petitioning the guild leader of The Black Watch to try to get them to move to Natus and take up the large contract to establish a constant defense against the vampires of The Bloodvine Jungle.
